The Cheeky Traveller

The Cheeky Traveller is by far the best bar on Phu Quoc island.

We visited here many times during our trip and loved it every moment. Kim and Ken, the owners, are very friendly and make everyone feel welcome.

Also, the live music every night is excellent, and the cocktails are great. We love the vibrant and warm atmosphere here as we can see many familiar faces whenever we come back.

We highly recommend this place if you’re traveling alone in a couple or a group. Prices are great: beer is $1, and their cocktails are just 50,000 VND (~$2.15).

Coco Bar

We spent a few nights at Coco bar, and it was a nice little place to relax.

Not crowded or bustling with EDM, Coco Bar offers a relaxing and chill space with classic Jazz melodies and a rich selection of cocktails.

Coming here, you have to try the homemade rum – distilled from various fresh tropical fruits such as pineapple, watermelon, passion fruit, mango, and ginger. We recommend coconut rum.

The bar also offers a variety of dishes. We tried the pizza, but the dough was a big disappointment. We haven’t tried other dishes, so I can’t comment.

We love the view and the bar’s decoration. The open-concept space offers a cozy feeling, and the sofas and chairs here are comfy. Also, the staff is very attentive.

Chuon Chuon Bistro & Sky Bar has a good selection of signature cocktails, mocktails, and coffee. The menu also offers a mix of Vietnamese and Western cuisines.

We tried BBQ pork ribs and Grilled beef with lemongrass chili and liked them both.

Bad points: Drinks are quite expensive here, and they don’t serve coffee after 4 pm.

Aloha Beach Bar

Aloha Beach Bar is another excellent place to watch the sunset in Phu Quoc. The bar just opened last December, so few people know about it.

We enjoy coming here during the day, sitting on bean bags, and sipping coffee or cold beers under the palm trees. It also has a good sitting area where you can work as well.

Note: You can only order coffee before 3 pm. After that, the menu changes.
